Richards broken foot!
Well here is richards broken foot which happened a week ago, while he was playing in the hockey tournamnet. He was turning around the net and his skate just broke (They were 10 years old and actually rotten) and he was going pretty fast and he slammed into the side boards with his foot and it was completely turned the other way. So yea a very very bad break. His heal is broken and bone in his leg in 2 spots and popped out of joint. So the ambulance came to pick him up and i was so freaked out at this point because he looked like he was in so much pain and we didn't at that time what was wrong exactly if it might have effected his neck or back but thankfully it didn't. So in barrhead hospital they reset his foot and did x-rays and from there took him in the ambulance to westlock and they did surgery that night. They put a steal plate in his foot and 10 screws. So he has to be off his foot 6 weeks with no pressure on it and than 3 months physio. He will get a cast put on feb 12 because this is only a partial cast. so yea a long road to recovery! We are very thankful that it wasn't worse but we have to realize that are lives are so fragile and things like this happen within seconds and we never think that it will happen to us but it can!

Oh no Richard...OUCH!!! I got goose bump just thinking about it. Sounds like quite the break!!! Well Francine take good care of your hubby...make sure he listens to the doctor...I know guys have a tendancy to NOT listen and start doing things they should not be doing...it is tough for them to just do nothing.I LOVE you place...it turned out beautiful.

Wow I think your house looks like a picture in a magazine. It sure looks like a brand new home..I cant wait to see it when we come for a visit. Also take care of old richie....poor guy. It is gooing to be tough for him to sit and not do a whole lot. Paul could hardly sit for 2 days after his knee surgery. Love ya

WOW! Sounds pretty painful! For both of you...physically for Richard...scary for you! Thankfully it wasn't worse.....now he will have to take a break! Hard as it will be for him to sit still for that long..make sure he does, the consequences would be worse if he doesn't! Your house has turned out incredible, you have a talented husband! Almost as good as mine....but not quite there! It looks so inviting and warm, I love it! It reminds me of the fact that our husbands both have good ideas!
